Off The Beaten Path- Lohan Desperate

Lindsay Lohan Posing nude for “New York” magazine.

In an homage to Marlyn Monroe, Lohan has bared all to New York; “New York” magazine that is. The pictorial of Lohan is a tribute to Marlyn Monroe’s last shoot in 1962.

Lohan, who has seen more rehab centers than Steven Tyler Perry, had this to say on the eerie pictorial, “You know, it’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else (Heath Ledger). They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.” Referring both to Monroe and Ledger is trying to compare apple and oranges. I feel as if I am ready to witness another media icon perish. Eerie is not even the word I was looking for, yet more surreal than anything.

The “New York” magazine has commented on the issue; and the senior editor could not be more happier to have Lohan grace their pages.

Many avid readers feel that to publish such nude photos of a pop, teen icon have crossed certain moral boundaries within its readership.

Your thoughts are welcomed. Open-ended post that deserves attention. Why? How do you feel about having a teen icon strip nude?
